30:4C-35 Contributions. 35. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency is authorized to retain any voluntary contributions of money heretofore received by it, and to receive future contributions. All contributions, whether already received or hereafter received, shall be kept in a separate fund, and shall be used only upon order of the division for the purposes for which the contributions were made, and the funds shall be in the custody and control of the division; provided, however, that any contribution made to the division, the original purpose of which is no longer practicable or possible of achievement, may be used by the division, at its discretion, for the general benefit and welfare of children under its supervision.
