30:4-79. Payments by county treasurer; statement furnished The county treasurer of each county shall pay in quarterly payments to the treasurer, auditor or board of managers of each State institution, to which patients chargeable to the county have been committed, the amount of the per capita rate fixed by the State House Commission, together with such proportionate part of the allowance for clothing as shall be fixed by the State House Commission, upon the certification by the chief executive officer of the institution, or by the commissioner or his designated agent, who shall send to the clerk of the board of chosen freeholders of each county supporting patients at the institution at least 3 days before the day for the meeting of the board of chosen freeholders, a statement giving the names of all patients supported at the institution at the expense of the county and showing the dates of their admission or commitment, the date of the discharge of any who have been discharged, the date of the death of any who have died, and the dates between which any patients may have been away from the institution on a visit or otherwise during said month.
