30:4-177.13. Declaration of public policy It is declared to be the public policy of this State to provide the means and facilities for the study of the causes and to contribute to the knowledge of the control, prevention and the cure of neuropsychiatric disorders which have proven so inimical to the health and welfare of the citizens of the State and which, if uncontrolled, constitute a menace to the individual afflicted thereby or to society in general.
