2C:11-2.1. Elapse of time between assault and death, prosecution for criminal homicide The length of time which has elapsed between the initial assault and the death of the victim shall not be a bar to prosecution of the actor for criminal homicide. L.1979, c. 363, s. 1, eff. Feb. 1, 1980.
