2A:20-6. Assignment of property to assignee; exemptions The debtor shall forthwith execute to the assignee a general assignment of all his real and personal property, with an inventory of his estate and a list of creditors as provided by chapter 19 of this title. The assignee shall have all the rights and powers and shall perform all the duties with respect to an assignee under said chapter 19, and all proceedings and other matters shall be governed by said chapter.
