26:2KK-2 DOH designated lead agency. 2. The Department of Health shall serve as lead agency for the development of a formal State trauma system that defines the roles of all health care facilities in the State, taking into account their resources and capabilities, allowing for the provision of care to injured patients in the State along the continuum of care.
