26:2C-8.49 Coordination of programs by DLPS with DEP and MVC. 24. The Department of Law and Public Safety shall consult with the Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission when adopting rules and regulations pursuant to P.L.1995, c.157 (C.39:8-59 et al.) to ensure the proper coordination between the periodic inspection program and the roadside enforcement program and the implementation and enforcement of the provisions of P.L.2005, c.219 (C.26:2C-8.26 et al.).
