26:1A-55. Transfer of powers and duties of State Board of Health and Director of Health to State Department of Health The functions, powers and duties of the State Board of Health and the functions, powers and duties of the present Director of Health are hereby transferred to and vested in the State Department of Health established under this act, to be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this act and as otherwise provided by law.
