24:11A-2. Declaration of purpose The purpose of this act is to promote public health and nutrition and to promote fair dealing in the interest of consumers of flour and bread through standardization of certain vitamin and mineral contents; and to provide for general health and dietary improvement through vitamin and mineral enrichment of bread and flour as staple food products consumed in high proportion by the mass of the people.
