18A:54-4. Discontinuance of vocational schools When in the judgment of the state board the management and control, equipment, methods of instruction, attendance of pupils, or per capita cost of maintenance based upon the average daily attendance is so unsatisfactory as to make the continuance of any school established under the provisions of this chapter unwise, the commissioner shall give the board of education having the control and management of the school written notice that the approval of the school has been withdrawn. Any unexpended balance of moneys received from the state for the support of the school at the end of the school year following the withdrawal of the approval shall be returned to the state treasury.
