17:16A-7. Certificate of authority as prima facie evidence of incorporation of foreign company When an investment company of another State shall hold the certificate of the commissioner authorizing it to transact business in this State, in any civil action in which such company is plaintiff or defendant, or in any criminal proceeding in this State, a copy of such certificate of authority, certified under the hand and official seal of the commissioner, shall be prima facie evidence of the incorporation of such company.
