16:1-12. Change of time and place of annual meeting of church incorporated under special act Any church or religious society incorporated by special act prior to March twenty-second, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, may, at any annual meeting, designate, by a majority present duly qualified to vote, the time and place at which it will hold its annual meeting thereafter, any special law to the contrary notwithstanding. This section shall not apply to the Protestant Episcopal Church.
