13:8A-50. Operation and maintenance of property or facilities by local unit A local unit which receives a grant under this act shall satisfactorily operate and maintain, or cause to be operated and maintained, the property or facilities acquired or developed pursuant to the conditions of the agreement between the local unit and the department when such grant is made. In the event that the local unit cannot or will not correct deficiencies in operation and maintenance within a reasonable time period, the commissioner may require the repayment of a portion of or the entire grant amount received by the local unit.
