13:1E-99.4. Banned containers No beverage shall be sold within the State in a metal container designed and constructed so that the container is opened by detaching a metal ring or tab, except if the tab is made of tape, foil, or other soft material; or in metal beverage containers connected to each other by a separate device made of plastic which does not decompose by photodegradation, chemical degradation, or biodegradation. For the purposes of this section, "beverage" means alcoholic beverages, including beer or other malt beverages, liquor, wine, vermouth and sparkling wine, and nonalcoholic beverages, including fruit juice, mineral water and soda water and similar nonalcoholic carbonated drinks intended for human consumption.
