Commission established; members; powers and duties L.1925, c. 73, p. 244, entitled "An act to provide for the revision and consolidation of the public statutes of this state," approved March twelfth, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, saved from repeal. [This act provides for the appointment by the chancellor of three commissioners, who shall be counselors at law, to revise, simplify, arrange and consolidate all the public acts of the state; states the powers and duties of the commissioners in respect of such revision; provides for the submission by the commissioners to the legislature of a printed copy of the public acts revised by them; requires the commissioners, after the laws revised by them have been submitted to and approved by the legislature, to prepare the same for the press, with the proper references and notes; provides for the distribution of the statutes so revised; authorizes the commissioners to select a chairman; provides for the compensation of the commissioners and of the persons employed by them; provides for the filling of vacancies in the membership of the commission; and makes a preliminary appropriation.]
