New Hampshire Code § 676:14

Determination of Which Local Ordinance Takes Precedence

Whenever a local land use ordinance is enacted or a regulation is adopted which differs from the authority of an existing ordinance or other regulation, the provision which imposes the greater restriction or higher standard shall be controlling.
