If judgment shall be rendered against a person holding the office of commissioner of corrections, for a sum of money, the execution thereon shall be against his goods, chattels, and lands, but not against his body; and, if the execution is returned unsatisfied, the creditor may file a certified copy of it, and of the return thereon, with the secretary of state.
