If, upon completion of a death investigation, the medical examiner is of the opinion that the death of the person was caused or occurred in any manner described in RSA 611-B:11, the medical examiner shall file a record of the case with the county attorney or the attorney general, in accordance with rules adopted by the chief medical examiner under RSA 541-A.
