Pollyanna of Littleton New Hampshire Recognition Day

The governor shall annually issue a proclamation calling for a proper observance of the second Saturday in June as Pollyanna of Littleton New Hampshire Recognition Day in recognition and celebration of the bronze fine art sculpture of Pollyanna on the lawn of the Littleton public library as an attraction and a welcoming symbol of the gladness and optimism of the people of New Hampshire. The governor shall urge schools, libraries, and citizens to commemorate the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.
