Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to: I. Ensure New Hampshire can coordinate in all areas of regulation, licensing, and supervision with other states to eliminate unnecessary regulatory burden and more efficiently utilize regulator resources. II. Protect the citizens of New Hampshire from financial crime. III. Standardize the types of activities that are subject to licensing or otherwise exempt from licensing. IV. Modernize safety and soundness requirements to ensure customer funds are protected in an environment that supports innovative and competitive business practices.
