I. Except as provided in RSA 304-D:2, II, professional limited liability companies may be organized under this chapter only for the purpose of rendering professional services, including necessary related services, within a single profession. II. A professional limited liability company may be formed for the purpose of rendering professional services within 2 or more professions and for any purpose or purposes of this state for which limited liability companies may be organized under the law of this state applicable to limited liability companies to the extent that the combination of professional purposes or of professional and business purposes is permitted by the licensing laws of this state applicable to such professions and by rules adopted under those laws.
