Entry Into Compact and Withdrawal

I. Entry into the compact shall be made by a resolution of ratification executed by the commissioner and submitted to the repository for balloting by member jurisdictions, and shall become effective no sooner than 2 complete calendar quarters after approval of the application unless the commissioner and all current members agree to an earlier effective date which shall be stated in the adopting resolution. II. The commissioner may withdraw from the compact by official written notice to all member jurisdictions, but a withdrawal shall not take place until at least 2 full calendar quarters after notice of withdrawal is given. The notice shall be directed to the compact administrator of each member jurisdiction, and the commissioner shall also notify each licensee of the withdrawal at least one full calendar quarter prior to the withdrawal. III. [Repealed.]
