I. The director of parks and recreation in consultation with the director of travel and tourism development shall formulate an annual promotion program for state park facilities. II. This program shall be coordinated with the state's general tourism promotion efforts. III. Funding for park system promotion shall be appropriated to the division of parks and recreation and shall be expended with the assistance of the division of travel and tourism development.
