New Hampshire Code § 204-C:17

Purchase of Mortgage Loans and Loans

Without limiting the generality of the powers granted under RSA 204-C:8, the authority may: I. Invest in, purchase or make commitments to purchase, and take assignments from lending institutions of loans, whether or not secured by a mortgage, mortgage loans and promissory notes accompanying such loans or mortgage loans, including federally insured loans or mortgage loans or participations with lending institutions in such loans, promissory notes and mortgage loans, for the construction, rehabilitation, purchase, leasing or refinancing of housing within the state; II. Sell, at public or private sale, with or without public bidding, any mortgage loan, loan or other obligation held by the authority; and III. Adopt, modify or repeal rules governing the purchase and sale of loans and mortgage loans and the application of proceeds thereof.
