Remedies for Noncompliance

I. If the authority finds, after reasonable notice and opportunity for hearing, that a grantee under this subdivision has failed to comply substantially with the provisions of this subdivision, the rules adopted under this subdivision, or applicable provisions of federal law, the authority may: (a) Terminate payments to the grantee under this subdivision; or (b) Limit the availability of payments under this subdivision under such conditions as the authority may establish. II. In lieu of, or in addition to, any action authorized in paragraph I, the authority may refer the matter to the attorney general of the state of New Hampshire with a recommendation that an appropriate civil action be instituted.
