I. Any person who violates the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. II. An individual harmed by a person violating this chapter may bring a civil action against the person and, if successful, shall be awarded the greater of actual damages or liquidated damages of $2,500 for each violation, reasonable attorneys' fees and other litigation costs reasonably incurred, and such other equitable relief as the court determines to be appropriate.
