New Hampshire Code § 110-B:43

Apprehension

"Apprehension" is the taking into custody of a person. Any person authorized under the regulations governing the national guard to apprehend persons subject to this chapter may do so upon reasonable belief that an offense has been committed and that the person apprehended committed it.
