New Hampshire Code § 100-A:19-b

Minimum Age

For the purposes of this subdivision only, minimum age shall mean: I. For a member who has completed less than 20 years combined creditable service in both group I and group II, 60 years. [Paragraph II effective until July 1, 2034; see also paragraph II set out below. For prospective changes to paragraphs II(a) and (c) effective July 1, 2026 through July 1, 2033, see 2025, 142:10-17.] II. (a) For a member who is in vested status before January 1, 2013 and, who has completed 20 or more years of combined creditable service, one year shall be deducted from age 60 for each year of creditable group II service, provided that the age shall not be less than 45 years. (b) For a member who commenced service on or after July 1, 2011 and who has completed 25 or more years of combined creditable service, one year shall be deducted from age 60 for each year of creditable group II service, provided that the age shall not be less than 50 years, and provided that a the member shall not be eligible to receive a retirement allowance until attaining the age of 52.5. (c) For members who have not attained vested status prior to January 1, 2013, minimum age shall be as provided in the transition provisions in RSA 100-A:5, II(d) with one year deducted from age 60 to not less than the adjusted minimum age. [Paragraph II effective July 1, 2034; see also paragraph II set out above.] II.
