Sign and signature defined

Sign
or signature means with the present intent to authenticate or adopt a record
or identify oneself:
1. To execute or otherwise adopt a
tangible symbol, name, word or mark, including, without limitation, any manual,
facsimile or confirmed signature; or
2. To attach to or logically associate with
an electronic transmission an electronic sound, symbol or process, including,
without limitation, an electronic signature, in an electronic transmission.
