Nevada Code § 72.010

Deposits of money in lieu of required undertakings

In all civil cases arising in justice courts
wherein an undertaking is required, the plaintiff or defendant may deposit with
the justice a sum of money equal to the amount required by the undertaking,
which sum of money shall be taken as security in place of the undertaking.
