1. Upon receipt of the application for a franchise, the board of county commissioners shall: (a) Set the same for hearing at its next regular meeting thereafter. (b) Cause such notice to be given of the filing of the application and of the time set for the hearing thereof as it may deem reasonable. 2. At the hearing objections to the granting of the franchise may be heard and considered.
