Nevada Code § 706.8843

Conditions of employment of driver by certificate holder; provision of rules and regulations by certificate holder to driver; signed statement by driver regarding receipt and reading of rules and regulations

1. A certificate holder shall not employ a
driver unless the driver has obtained and has on the drivers person:
(a) A valid drivers license for the State of
Nevada obtained under the provisions of NRS
483.010 to 483.630 , inclusive;
(b) A copy of a medical examiners certificate
obtained pursuant to NRS 706.8842 ; and
(c) A drivers permit issued by the Administrator
pursuant to rules and regulations of the Taxicab Authority.
2. A certificate holder shall, at the time
the certificate holder employs a driver, provide the driver with a complete
copy of the rules and regulations described in NRS 706.8844 to 706.88499 , inclusive, and such other
rules and regulations as may be adopted by the Taxicab Authority, and require the
driver to sign a statement that the driver has received a copy of the
regulations and has read and familiarized himself or herself with the contents
thereof.
