If any vehicle in a fleet is first registered after the final date for the annual payment of fees under the laws of this State as they exist without NRS 706.801 to 706.861 , inclusive, such vehicles shall pay fees in the amount provided by law for the then registration of the vehicle, in the manner provided in NRS 706.841 , and such vehicle shall after registration be treated for all purposes as otherwise provided for vehicles of a fleet.
