As used in NRS 706.444 to 706.453 , inclusive, insurance company means any entity authorized to provide insurance for motor vehicles in this State, including, without limitation, a captive insurer, as defined in NRS 694C.060 , and a person qualified as a self-insurer, pursuant to NRS 485.380 .
