1. Private motor carrier of property means any person or operator engaged in the transportation by vehicle of property sold, or to be sold, or used by the person or operator in furtherance of any private commercial enterprise. 2. Private motor carrier of property shall not be construed as permitting the carriage of any property whatsoever for compensation, direct or indirect.
