Economic Development Electric Rate Rider Program: Establishment; purpose; administration by Commission; electric utility required to set aside capacity determined by Commission for allocation; limitation on total amount of capacity set aside. [Effective through the date on which the last contract entered into pursuant to the Program terminates, whether termination is by expiration of the terms or otherwise.]

1. The Economic Development Electric Rate
Rider Program is hereby established for the purpose of attracting new
commercial and industrial businesses to this State. The Commission, in
consultation with the Office of Economic Development, shall administer the
Program.
2. Each electric utility in this State
shall set aside an amount of capacity determined by the Commission for
allocation to new customers pursuant to the Program, but the total amount of
capacity that the Commission may require to be set aside by all electric
utilities in this State pursuant to this subsection must not exceed 50
megawatts.
