Provisions do not prohibit certain transactions involving generation assets or other property

The
provisions of NRS 704.7561 to 704.7595 , inclusive, do not prohibit an
electric utility from pledging, mortgaging, granting a security interest in or
otherwise encumbering any of its generation assets or other property for the
purpose of securing indebtedness of the electric utility which exists on April
18, 2001, or which is issued or incurred by the electric utility after April
18, 2001, in financing transactions approved by the Commission.
