Impact-resistant fluorescent lamp means a fluorescent lamp that: 1. Is not a compact fluorescent lamp; 2. Has a coating or equivalent technology that is compliant with Standard No. 51 of the American National Standards Institute and is designed to contain the glass if the glass envelope of the lamp is broken; and 3. Is designated and marketed for the intended application with: (a) The designation on the lamp packaging; and (b) Marketing materials that identify the lamp as being impact-resistant, shatter-resistant, shatterproof or shatter-protected.
