1. Any natural person who intends to apply for a license as a bail enforcement agent, bail solicitor or bail agent, other than a nonresident license as a bail agent, must personally take and pass a written examination of his or her competence to act as such. After passing the examination, the person may apply to the Commissioner for such a license. 2. The scope of the examination must be as broad as the bail bond business. 3. The examination must be administered by the Commissioner or an entity approved by the Commissioner.
