1. Any person, except a credit union organized under the provisions of this chapter or the Nevada Credit Union League, which uses a name or title containing the words credit union or any derivation thereof or representing themselves in their advertising or otherwise as conducting business as a credit union is guilty of a gross misdemeanor. 2. Any person who maliciously and knowingly spreads false reports about the management or finances of any credit union is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
