The Division may issue a license to engage in radiation therapy and radiologic imaging to a person who: 1. Has successfully completed an educational program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, or its successor organization, the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology, or its successor organization, or another national accrediting organization approved by the Division; and 2. Is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or its successor organization, to practice in the area of radiography, nuclear medicine technology or radiation therapy or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or its successor organization, in nuclear medicine or meets any alternative standards prescribed by regulation of the Board.
