Records: Maintenance by Commissioner; contents; confidentiality and disclosure of application and personal or financial records and other documents submitted or obtained pursuant to certain examination, audit or investigation

1. The Commissioner shall keep in the
Office of the Commissioner, in a suitable record provided for the purpose, all
applications for certificates, licenses and all bonds required to be filed
under this chapter. The record must state the date of issuance or denial of the
license or certificate and the date and nature of any action taken against any
of them.
2. All licenses and certificates issued
must be sufficiently identified in the record.
3. All renewals must be recorded in the
same manner as originals, except that, in addition, the number of the preceding
license or certificate issued must be recorded.
4. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 239.0115 , any application and personal
or financial records submitted by a person pursuant to the provisions of this
chapter and any personal or financial records or other documents obtained by
the Division of Financial Institutions of the Department of Business and
Industry pursuant to an examination, audit or investigation conducted by the
Division are confidential and may be disclosed only to:
(a) The Division, any authorized employee of the
Division and any state or federal agency investigating activity covered by this
chapter.
(b) The Department of Taxation for its use in
carrying out the provisions of chapter 363C of NRS.
