Nevada Code § 639.300

Recovery of penalties; conduct of actions and prosecutions by district attorney

1. The several penalties prescribed in
this chapter may be recovered in any court having jurisdictions, by a civil
action instituted by the Board, in the name of the State of Nevada, or by
criminal prosecution upon complaint being made.
2. The district attorney of the county
wherein violations of the provisions of this chapter occur shall conduct all
such actions and prosecutions at the request of the Board.
