Nevada Code § 639.2806

Parenteral solutions: Limitation on sale and dispensing

A parenteral solution which is used by a
patient in his or her home or in a facility for the dependent or a medical
facility, other than a hospital as defined in NRS
449.012 , may only be sold or dispensed:
1. By a pharmacy licensed in this state or
a practitioner;
2. If the date of expiration is on its
label; and
3. If a practitioner, registered pharmacist
and a registered nurse are available at all times for immediate assistance to
the patient in case of any pharmaceutical problems encountered in its use.
