1. A person applying for a license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of this chapter who wishes to hold a simultaneous license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS must: (a) Indicate in the application that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS; (b) Apply for a license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant to: (1) The Board pursuant to this chapter; and (2) The Board of Medical Examiners pursuant to chapter 630 of NRS; and (c) Pay all applicable fees, including, without limitation: (1) The application and initial simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 ; and (2) The fee for application for and issuance of a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 . 2. If a person who applies for an anesthesiologist assistant license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter indicates that he or she wishes to hold a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS and pays the application and initial simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 and the person does not pay the fee for application for and issuance of a simultaneous license as an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 630.268 within 1 year after the issuance of his or her license pursuant to this chapter: (a) The State Board of Osteopathic Medicine shall notify the person that he or she is required to pay to the Board the difference between: (1) The application and initial license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 ; and (2) The application and initial simultaneous license fee for an anesthesiologist assistant established pursuant to NRS 633.501 ; and (b) The person shall pay to the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine the amount required by paragraph (a) not later than 30 days after the date of the notice provided pursuant to paragraph (a).
