Nevada Code § 633.4252

Regulations concerning licensure of anesthesiologist assistants

The Board shall adopt regulations establishing
the requirements for the issuance of a license to practice as an
anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to NRS
633.4254 and a temporary license to practice as an anesthesiologist
assistant pursuant to NRS 633.4262 ,
including, without limitation:
1. The required qualifications of an
applicant for such a license or temporary license;
2. The academic or educational
certificates, credentials or programs of study required of an applicant for
such a license or temporary licenses;
3. The procedures for submitting an
application for a license or temporary license;
4. The standards of review for applicants
submitted pursuant to NRS 633.4254 and 633.4262 and procedures for the issuance
of such licenses;
5. The testing or examination of
applicants by the Board;
6. The renewal, revocation, suspension and
termination of licenses;
7. The regulation and discipline of
anesthesiologist assistants, including, without limitation, the reporting of
complaints, conducting investigations of alleged misconduct and disciplinary
proceedings;
8. The requirements for the supervision of
an anesthesiologist assistant by a supervising osteopathic anesthesiologist;
and
9. Consistent with the provisions of NRS 633.425 , the duties which an
anesthesiologist assistant may perform under the supervision of a supervising
osteopathic anesthesiologist.
