Temporary license to practice osteopathic medicine

1. The Board may issue to a qualified
person a temporary license to practice osteopathic medicine in this State which
authorizes the person to serve as a substitute for a physician licensed pursuant
to chapter 630 of NRS or an osteopathic
physician licensed pursuant to this chapter who is absent from his or her
practice.
2. Each applicant for a temporary license
issued pursuant to this section must pay the temporary license fee specified in
this chapter.
3. A temporary license to practice
osteopathic medicine is valid for not more than 6 months after issuance and is
not renewable. Upon the expiration of a temporary license, an osteopathic
physician may apply for a new temporary license in accordance with the
provisions of this section.
