Biennial report to Governor and Legislature. [Effective through June 30, 2026.]

1. On or before February 15 of each
odd-numbered year, the Board shall submit to the Governor and to the Director
of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal to the next regular session
of the Legislature a written report compiling:
(a) Disciplinary action taken by the Board during
the previous biennium against osteopathic physicians, physician assistants and
anesthesiologist assistants for malpractice or negligence;
(b) Information reported to the Board during the
previous biennium pursuant to NRS 633.526 , 633.527 , subsections 3 and 6 of NRS 633.533 and NRS 690B.250 ; and
(c) Information reported to the Board during the
previous biennium pursuant to NRS 633.524 ,
including, without limitation, the number and types of surgeries performed by
each holder of a license to practice osteopathic medicine and the occurrence of
sentinel events arising from such surgeries, if any.
2. The report must include only aggregate
information for statistical purposes and exclude any identifying information
related to a particular person.

of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal to the next regular session
of the Legislature a written report compiling:
(a) Disciplinary action taken by the Board during
the previous biennium against osteopathic physicians, physician assistants and
anesthesiologist assistants for malpractice or negligence;
(b) Information reported to the Board during the
previous biennium pursuant to NRS 633.526 , 633.527 , subsections 3 and 6 of NRS 633.533 and NRS 690B.250 ;
(c) Information reported to the Board during the
previous biennium pursuant to NRS 633.524 ,
including, without limitation, the number and types of surgeries performed by
each holder of a license to practice osteopathic medicine and the occurrence of
sentinel events arising from such surgeries, if any; and
(d) Information relating to the efficiency of the
process for licensing osteopathic physicians, including, without limitation:
(1) The average time during the
immediately preceding biennium between when a person applied for a license to
practice osteopathic medicine and when the license was issued or the
application was denied;
(2) The total number of applications for
licensure to practice osteopathic medicine processed by the Board during the
immediately preceding biennium; and
(3) Recommendations for improvements to
the process for licensing osteopathic physicians.
2. The report must include only aggregate
information for statistical purposes and exclude any identifying information
related to a particular person.
