1. After the initial terms, members serve terms of 4 years, except when appointed to fill unexpired terms. 2. If a member fails to attend meetings of the Board or to the business of the Board, as determined necessary in its discretion, the Board shall notify the Governor, and the Governor shall appoint a person qualified under this chapter to replace the member for the remainder of the unexpired term.
