1. An approved school of practical nursing or an approved school of professional nursing may determine the appropriate ratio of faculty members to students for a course that provides clinical training, provided that such a ratio not exceed 1 member of the faculty for every 12 students. 2. The Board may not impose requirements that are more stringent than the requirements of subsection 1 concerning the ratio of faculty members to students for a course to which that subsection applies.
